Getting There

Postcode is LS17 9LA

Visitors from the South/Midlands, coming up the M1, should stay on the M1 after the M62 Junction. (Do not take the road into Leeds). This link road runs straight into the A1M, and about 4 miles after joining the A1M, take junction 45, follow the A659 westwards towards Otley.

Follow the A659 (signed for Harewood House) into Collingham (bear right at the lights, following Harewood House signs). Police safety cameras are often in Collingham After approximately 3 miles, Harewood Hillclimb is on your righthand side.

Visitors from the North, travelling down the A1M, should also take junction 45 then as above.

Look for the signs, Indicate early, as you may have a following car try to pass at the entrance!

On Arrival

Gate staff will crimp your tickets, follow the roadway dead ahead, over the cattlegrid and straight on between the two lines of fence, aim for the left side of the hut in front of you and follow the road down the hill, as you approach the start area, turn right and park on the hardstanding. Up the stairs on the right to free tea, coffee and sign-on

Signing On

Signing on is inside the "Barn", usually from 8am with a briefing at 8:45, Posts will be allocated during this time. Don't forget your raffle and drink tickets.


Start, Clarks, Thompsons, Esses, Country, Willow, Orchard, Farmhouse In, Farmhouse Out, Quarry, Roadblock, and of course the all important Paddock crew

Close parking is available on most posts, If it's your first time at Harewood you'll be introduced to your Post Chief at sign on, ask about parking then.

Lunch / Circuit Customs

Lunch is available from the catering marquee, there is a separate queue for marshals, Drinks at end of day from same place.

Marshal's Perspective

A friendly bunch of regulars who vary in age from teenagers to 75+

Can be windy, with little to hide behind, huts on all posts, most with seating alongside
